The East Souris River Integrated Watershed Management plan identifies big picture issues and sets long and short term priorities for improving the watershed. This plan was created by representatives from the watershed community who formed the Watershed Planning Advisory Team (WPAT).  WPAT included watershed residents, local municipalities and government agencies who all came together to discuss watershed concerns and work together to develop long term solutions and goals for the watershed. The plan was the first of its kind in Manitoba and was completed in 2006.
